304 Stainless Steel Coil for Kitchen Equipment in Turkey

Shangyou supported a kitchen-equipment producer sourcing 304 stainless steel coil for forming, fabrication and visible panels. The order required coordination of thickness, width, surface finish, flatness, slit-edge quality and surface protection so that the coils could move efficiently into the customer’s downstream production.

The buyer needed coils compatible with forming and fabrication equipment while maintaining a consistent appearance on visible components. The main risks were an unsuitable finish, variation in strip width, coil weight exceeding line capacity, edge damage and protective film that did not match the fabrication process.

• Matched the finish to the end component: 2B for general fabrication, BA for brighter surfaces or No.4 for directional decorative appearance.
• Confirmed thickness tolerance, slit width, coil ID, maximum OD and coil-weight limits.

• Applied compatible protective film only where requested.

304 is suitable for many food-service and kitchen environments, but it is not the default choice for persistent salt exposure, aggressive chlorinated cleaners or marine conditions. Confirm whether 316L is required for the actual cleaning chemicals and service environment.
