This project involved 316L sanitary tubing for hygienic process lines. The purchasing decision depended on internal-surface quality, dimensional compatibility, cleanliness, end protection and documentation—not only on alloy grade. Shangyou reviewed these items before arranging inspection and shipment.

| Item | Project Requirement |
|---|---|
| Destination | Germany |
| Industry | Food processing |
| Material | 316L / UNS S31603 |
| Standard | ASTM A270/A270M |
| Surface | ID/OD finish and Ra limit |
| Manufacture | Welded tube with continuous longitudinal seam, if ordered |
| Processing | Polishing, cleaning and capped ends |
| Inspection | MTC 3.1, dimensions, surface/Ra report if specified |
| Quantity / Delivery | 120TON/75DAY |
The customer needed tubing suitable for hygienic fabrication and compatible with existing fittings. Risks included vague polishing terms, mixing decorative tube with sanitary tube, contamination during handling, damage to polished internal surfaces and missing evidence for a specified Ra value.

The tube was released only against the agreed purchase specification. Add verified weld, surface, cleanliness and site-fit feedback here.

316L assists corrosion resistance and weld fabrication but does not by itself establish hygienic suitability. Surface roughness, weld quality, drainability, cleaning chemistry, passivation and system design also determine performance.
Provide the applicable standard, OD, wall, length, ID/OD finish, Ra, weld requirements, cleaning/passivation, certificates and packing method.
