Shangyou supported a marine-equipment requirement for Nickel Alloy 625 plate. The buyer’s priorities included authentic UNS N06625 identification, the correct ASTM product-form standard, a defined condition, controlled cutting and documentary traceability because Alloy 625 commands a substantially different cost and performance level from stainless steel.

| Item | Project Requirement |
|---|---|
| Destination | South Korea |
| Material | Alloy 625 / UNS N06625 / EN 2.4856 |
| Standard | ASTM B443 / ASME SB-443 |
| Condition | Grade 1 annealed or Grade 2 solution annealed |
| Processing | Waterjet, laser, plasma or saw cutting as technically suitable |
| Inspection | MTC 3.1, PMI, dimensions, surface; additional tests as ordered |
| Quantity / Delivery | 115.5TON/78DAY |
The plate was intended for a marine component where chloride corrosion, strength and fabrication reliability mattered. Key risks included ordering the wrong B443 grade/condition, excessive heat input during cutting, incomplete traceability and assuming Alloy 625 is immune to every marine corrosion mechanism.

Insert verified fit-up, weld procedure acceptance, inspection release and arrival condition.

Alloy 625 performs well in many chloride and marine environments, but galvanic coupling, crevice geometry, temperature and specific media still require design review. For precipitation-hardened high-strength requirements, compare Alloy 718; for certain reducing chemical environments, compare C-276.
Send ASTM/ASME standard, grade/condition, thickness, dimensions or drawing, cutting tolerance, inspection plan, quantity and destination.
