ASTM A276 304L Stainless Steel Unequal Angle in Metric Sizes
Shangyou Stainless Steel supplies ASTM A276 304L stainless steel unequal angle for fabricated frames, brackets, supports, equipment bases and structural assemblies where the two legs perform different design functions.
304L is UNS S30403 and EN 1.4307. Its lower carbon content reduces the risk of carbide precipitation caused by welding heat and supports better resistance to intergranular corrosion in welded fabrications.
Unequal angle is specified as A × B × T, where A and B are different leg widths and T is the nominal thickness. The internal radius and external corner geometry depend on whether the product is hot rolled, cold formed or formed from plate.

Unequal angle is useful when one leg must provide a wider mounting face or when the section must fit an offset connection. It is used in frames, structural stiffeners, equipment supports, tanks, machinery and welded assemblies.
The buyer should not select an unequal angle only by the two leg widths. Thickness, inside radius, straightness, angle tolerance, edge condition and manufacturing route can affect installation.
For welded frames, 304L is generally preferred over 304 where substantial welding is expected and post-weld solution treatment is not practical.
Shangyou can process holes, elongated slots, mitre ends and fixed lengths according to drawings. Processing tolerances should be agreed separately from mill dimensional tolerances.
Products are bundled with steel straps and protected from contact with carbon-steel debris. Polished or machined components may be individually separated and packed in wooden cases.
