Cold forming enables flexible dimensions and smaller production quantities. The corner radius depends on material thickness, tooling and grade. It should not be shown as a perfectly sharp internal corner unless a separate fabrication process is used.
Thin-gauge angle is generally selected for trim and light fabrication rather than primary structural loading. Lighter cold-formed or cold-drawn architectural angles should be distinguished from heavier structural hot-rolled profiles.
Applications include elevator trim, wall corners, display frames, equipment covers, cabinets and indoor architectural details.
The RFQ should include visible faces, polishing direction, protective-film requirement and dimensional tolerances.
