Hole and slot patterns must be engineered around leg width, thickness, edge distance and expected load. Holes placed too close to a corner or edge may reduce section strength or distort during punching.
The process can be completed by drilling, laser cutting or punching depending on thickness, quantity and tolerance. Custom profiles with holes, slots and designs can be produced through drawing-based fabrication.
