Mill finish refers to the natural surface resulting from the selected manufacturing and heat-treatment route. It may show rolling texture, pickling variation, minor handling marks and a non-decorative appearance.
This surface is suitable for structural and industrial fabrication where function is more important than visual uniformity. It should not be described as No.4, BA or mirror finish.
Applications include processing platforms, factory supports, machinery frames, skids, brackets and general welded structures.
Products can be cut, drilled or prepared for welding. Surface grinding and polishing remain available as secondary processing.
