Shaanxi Shangyou Stainless Steel Co., Ltd. supplies astm b443 alloy 625 plate & sheet, grade 1 or grade 2 | n06625 for buyers whose primary search intent is corrosion-resistant plate and high-temperature sheet, not generic stainless or nickel-alloy stock. The page should be quoted against the selected standard edition, the equipment or component drawing and the governing design code. Nickel-chromium-molybdenum-niobium Alloy 625 flat product to ASTM B443, ordered in Grade 1 annealed or Grade 2 solution-annealed condition.
The material decision should start with service conditions. Solid-solution-strengthened nickel alloy combining high strength with resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and many mixed corrosive environments. Grade 1 and Grade 2 are not marketing quality levels; they are different heat-treatment conditions. Select using design temperature and required properties. This comparison belongs in the enquiry stage because a higher alloy name does not automatically deliver the lowest life-cycle risk.
A complete RFQ needs product form, grade/UNS, ordered condition, dimensional basis, tolerances, quantity and inspection level. Thickness, width, length, edge, flatness and permissible weld repair must be stated. Typical market sizes are references only and are not stock commitments. For pressure-containing products, the material standard controls product quality; it does not replace pressure-design calculations, corrosion allowance or code approval.
Manufacturing and documentation must remain connected. Rolled flat product with grade-specific heat treatment, leveling and cutting. Heat/lot identity must remain traceable after cutting. The baseline verification plan is: MTC, chemistry and mechanical tests, PMI, dimensional/flatness checks and optional UT/PT or corrosion tests when specified. Any supplementary requirement—PMI extent, UT class, eddy-current acceptance, corrosion testing, grain size, roughness, cleanliness or third-party inspection—must appear in the PO before production.
Fabrication guidance: Weld with qualified nickel-alloy procedures and control dilution, cleanliness and heat input. Forming forces and springback exceed common stainless sheet. Selection boundary: Alloy 625 is highly versatile but not immune to every acid or high-temperature sulfidizing environment. Use corrosion data for the actual concentration and temperature. Buyers should provide fluid composition, maximum and minimum temperature, pressure, design life, fabrication route and applicable code so the quotation can separate mandatory requirements from optional controls.
| Material standard | ASTM B443 — confirm the latest contract edition at PO stage |
|---|---|
| Grade / UNS | Alloy 625, Grade 1 / Grade 2 / N06625 |
| Product form | Plate, sheet and strip |
| Ordered condition | Grade 1 annealed for lower-temperature corrosion service; Grade 2 solution annealed where higher-temperature creep/rupture behavior is required by design. |
| Dimensions | Thickness, width, length, edge, flatness and permissible weld repair must be stated. Typical market sizes are references only and are not stock commitments. |
| Surface / ends | Hot-rolled/annealed/descaled plate or cold-rolled sheet as applicable; surface class and protective film by PO. |
| Manufacturing route | Rolled flat product with grade-specific heat treatment, leveling and cutting. Heat/lot identity must remain traceable after cutting. |
| Inspection package | MTC, chemistry and mechanical tests, PMI, dimensional/flatness checks and optional UT/PT or corrosion tests when specified. |
| Marker | Typical / controlled basis | Buyer implication |
|---|---|---|
| Ni | 58% minimum family | Austenitic stability and broad corrosion resistance |
| Cr | 20–23% | Oxidizing resistance |
| Mo + Nb | 8–10% Mo; 3.15–4.15% Nb+Ta | Localized-corrosion resistance and solid-solution strength |
Use note: Values above are concise identification/selection markers, not a replacement for the ordered ASTM/AWS chemistry table or the MTC.
Grade 1 and Grade 2 are not marketing quality levels; they are different heat-treatment conditions. Select using design temperature and required properties.
Do not overclaim: Alloy 625 is highly versatile but not immune to every acid or high-temperature sulfidizing environment. Use corrosion data for the actual concentration and temperature.
