The work order connects each cut length to the starting material heat and order line. A first piece is measured before the batch continues, followed by in-process length checks. Section dimensions, straightness and surface are reviewed as required. Ends can be supplied saw-cut, deburred or chamfered; parts intended for facing or CNC work can include a defined machining allowance.
