Shaanxi Shangyou Stainless Steel Co., Ltd. supplies standard and custom stainless steel profiles through hot-rolled, cold-formed, laser-welded, plate-built or machined routes. Each route creates different geometry and tolerance considerations, so inspection begins with the controlled drawing and its revision. Equal and unequal angles, channels, tees, I sections and H sections are not interchangeable. The product image, drawing, work order and final report must describe the same cross-section. Material grade, heat identity, surface condition and required length are confirmed before dimensional checks begin.
Depending on the profile, the inspection can cover leg width, flange width, web depth, thickness, included angle or squareness, internal root radius, toe shape, overall width and depth, length, straightness and twist. Calipers, micrometers, squares, radius gauges, height gauges or templates are selected for the measurement. A first article is checked before batch production where appropriate, followed by the sampling plan agreed for the order. Welded built-up profiles may also require weld size, appearance and NDT checks under a separate acceptance requirement.
The RFQ should include a fully dimensioned cross-section, material grade and product standard, mandatory manufacturing route if any, tolerance on every critical feature, length, quantity, surface, straightness and twist limits, end processing and inspection level. Buyers should state whether the profile is structural, architectural or a machining blank and identify any load-bearing design code that applies to the finished assembly. Shangyou can then review manufacturability, minimum order implications, inspection tooling, processing allowance and export packing before issuing the quotation.
