Shaanxi Shangyou Stainless Steel Co., Ltd. reviews the original inspection certificate and the physical material identity before releasing an export order. For an EN 10204 type 3.1 document, the review checks the certificate issuer, material standard, grade or UNS designation, product form, heat number, dimensions, delivery condition, chemical analysis, mechanical results and authorized validation. The team then compares those details with the purchase order, physical marking, stock or work-order record and packing list. This process is particularly important when one order contains multiple heats or several grades with similar appearance.
The original mill MTC, Shangyou's receiving or final inspection record and an independent third-party report have different issuers and scopes. Heat-number tracking connects them but does not convert one document into another. When material is cut, slit or divided, the identity is transferred to the resulting pieces or packages using the agreed method. Before release, the team checks that heat numbers and package quantities reconcile with the packing list. PMI, NDT, corrosion testing or special mechanical testing are included only when separately specified and are reported in their own records.
Purchasers should identify the required EN 10204 document type and whether an original mill MTC, certificate transfer, dual certification, third-party endorsement, project template or country-of-origin statement is required. They should also define piece-, bundle- or package-level heat marking and any document language or electronic-file naming rules. If the project has an approved mill list or requires certificate review before shipment, that condition should be included in the RFQ. Early definition avoids re-marking, certificate substitution disputes and document-release delays.
