N08020, also known as Alloy 20 or Carpenter 204047, is a specially designed nickel-chromium-iron alloy belonging to the nickel-iron-chromium austenitic alloy family. It is known for its excellent corrosion resistance, stress corrosion cracking resistance and good mechanical properties, especially under high temperature and high pressure working conditions.
Physical Properties: Density is about 8.75 g/cm³, melting point is about 1300-1350°C.
These components make N08020 alloy have excellent corrosion resistance and high temperature performance, and are widely used in chemical, petroleum, natural gas, food processing and marine engineering.
High temperature resistance: Can maintain stable mechanical and chemical properties at high temperatures, with maximum operating temperature reaching 600℃. Widely used in high temperature environments such as chemical, petroleum, aerospace and other fields.
Alkaline corrosion resistance: Can withstand corrosion from alkaline media such as sodium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide.
Other corrosion resistance: Can withstand corrosion in various complex environments including seawater and salt spray. Excellent resistance to marine water corrosion for marine engineering applications.
Mechanical properties: High mechanical strength, plasticity, and toughness. Maintains stable performance under stress and strain with excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking.
Acid corrosion resistance: Excellent corrosion resistance in acidic media such as sulfuric acid, nitrates, and hydrofluoric acid. First-class stability in strong corrosive media like nitric acid and sulfuric acid.
Processing performance: Good cold and hot processing performance. Can be prepared into various shapes through forging, hot rolling, cold rolling, and other methods. Requires appropriate preheating and cooling measures during processing.
